Part 1/Part 2 Architectural Assistant

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Part 1/Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our busy architectural design studio in London. We have a range of exciting new schemes coming up and successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on these as well as a wide range of existing projects, including strategic visions and masterplans, mixed-use and residential design and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Contribute, or otherwise assist, as required by the architectural and urban design teams
• Seek to understand the design project, assisting with formulating the brief and communicating the brief effectively to colleagues as required
• Use the guidance of the project leader or nominated architect to prepare, develop and edit the drawings, models, images, and other documents relating to the design
• Where required, create representations of design options for the design team

Qualifications and skills required:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in architecture
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills are a must
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proactivity and taking initiative in response to direction or instruction
• CAD and BIM/REVIT skills are considered advantageous
• Freehand sketching and model making abilities are also valued highly
