In the recently announced MUSE Design Awards 2024 (Season 2), Farrells-designed Xiamen Winland IFC has been honoured with three prestigious recognitions in Architectural Design – they are the Gold Winners of both Mixeduse Development and Office Building categories and the ONLY Gold Winner of Landmarks and Symbolic Structures category!

Xiamen Winland IFC, being the inaugural project of the Cross-Strait Financial Zone, stands out as a key gateway structure among the eastern landmark clusters of the island, highlighting its considerable strategic significance. Spanning approximately 500,000 square meters, this mixed-use development features a luxury hotel, serviced apartments, office spaces, and commercial retail areas. The design harmonises with the surrounding natural landscape and the ocean, with the tower’s twisting form reflecting the movement of the waves. This thoughtful design maximises sea views from various angles, enhancing both the aesthetic appeal and economic value of the building.

Farrells is proud to have contributed to the making of this pioneering project within the Cross-Strait Financial District, which we believe will stand as a significant urban landmark for Xiamen. In collaboration with our client and partners, we aspire to combine Farrells’ unique approach to placemaking with global best practices to achieve the highest standards of artistry, functionality and engineering.
