Evergrande IFC

Evergrande Jinan International Finance Centre is a mixed-use development on a 24,400 m² site in Jinan, Shandong Province. Comprising an international five-star hotel, office towers, serviced apartments and a large retail complex, the development is intended to seamlessly integrate with the verdant landscape of this new development area.

The landmark 518-metre skyscraper will be the second tallest building in China upon completion. Inspired by the geometric rock carvings characteristic of the region, the design was formed through the chiselling of a monolithic block – an architecture of crafted subtraction – where a series of measured cuts produces a crystalline form emphasizing verticality.
