Old Oak Common

Farrells vision for Old Oak Common is focused on the unparalleled level of accessibility this potential ‘super hub’ interchange will have. The transport interchange at Old Oak Common will link HS2 connectivity from the north to the Great Western and West Coast Main Lines, Crossrail, West and North London Lines, Bakerloo and Central Underground lines, Heathrow Express, A40 and North Circular Road. Given this truly transformational connectivity, Farrells study for the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham concluded that there is clear potential for a new place in London with the ‘super hub’ interchange becoming a powerful economic driver for growth and regeneration. Around a third of all high speed (HS2) passengers are expected to transfer at Old Oak Common onto the station’s unrivalled rail and road connections, including a new Crossrail and Farrells designed orbital rail interchange. Latterly Farrells have been engaged by New Queens Park to develop plans for the stadium-led regeneration of Old Oak Common and have had continuous involvement in the area for over five years.
