At Farrells we believe the place is the client. We always strive to understand the place and reveal its qualities, history and patterns. Most important of all, we seek to embrace the aspirations of existing communities and the people who know the place best. Collaboration and inclusiveness are ingrained in the way we work, because great places are the work of many hands.
We strongly believe in holistic design and strive to bring our projects from advocacy to completion. We tell the ‘story of the place’ from what it was to what it could become and we build consensus with all of the stakeholders along the way. We create a ‘spatial design’ of what the place will look and feel like supported by strong and clear understanding of economics and policy at all levels.
We outline a step by step ‘roadmap for implementation’ which allows projects to gain planning consent quickly with a broad consensus. We then support our clients in delivering the vision through detailed planning, building design and construction supervision.
