Xiamen Winland IFC Wins International Property Awards 2023-2024

Farrells-designed Xiamen Winland IFC has been recognised as the Winners of Best Mixed-use and Office Development at the International Property Awards 2023-2024. Mr. Stefan Krummeck, Director of Farrells and the Chief Architect of Xiamen IFC and Ms. Emily Yu, Director of Winland Group, attended the awards ceremony in Bangkok on 31 May.

Located on the east coast of Xiamen, this ambitious scheme comprises four super high-rise towers: including office buildings, serviced apartment towers, a boutique hotel and retail space with a total GFA of 500,000 m². As the first and one of the largest projects in the growing financial district, these towers represent the values of collaboration and openness. At the very top, a floating hotel forms the shape of a ‘GATE (門)’, providing both impressive views and a visually stunning new landmark for the rapidly developing city.

The crescent masterplan for the four towers maximised the natural view, creating an open and welcoming gesture that embraces the surrounding park and coastline. Additionally, the plan also gives the land back to the city by releasing plenty of greenery area and space for the sunken plaza, which creates seamless public spaces that connect the waterfront and the financial district’s hinterland, as well as the metro station and nearby communities, weaving a tightly-connected urban fabric.

The Xiamen Winland IFC and the adjacent metro station have been designed and constructed in an integrated manner, resulting in a highly efficient, compact, and multi-dimensional comprehensive TOD development.

The International Property Awards is a well-respected symbol of distinction, honouring the most exceptional accomplishments of businesses within the property and real estate fields worldwide.
